It's official. My blog is dead. For some reason, I just lost the passion for writing. I can't seem to figure out why. Until that day when I've figured out why, this might be my last post. But no worries, you can always check out my tumblr. OH NOW I GET IT!!! Tumblr came into my life. For some reason, sharing pictures is actually kinda fun. :) To check my tumblr out, go to www.anna-banana95.tumblr.com. I'll see you there! Happy holidays! :) My Chindian Best Friend. :)

Mean Girls - the movie that promotes cliques among people and that being plastic makes you cool and popular. In the end, everyone backstabs each other. Bride Wars - the movie that proofs no matter what happens, in the end friendship prevails. And there's always someone there who you can count on. The 2 movies I watched with my best friend when she came to my house for a sleepover. And we both learned something really important -- we know we've got each others back. AND! We'll be each others bridesmaid in our weddings. :) Random

Looking out at the sky, seeing the dark clouds slowly engulfing the brighter side of the sky, allowing only a small amount of light through the clouds -- guess it's gonna rain sooner or later. Sigh. Did you realize it's already the end of October? Who knew that this year would just zoom past this fast? Can you imagine next year is already my final year in school? Wow. 11 years of government education suddenly seem like a short time. Sigh. So there's 3 more days of exam left. I can't wait till it's finally over. All those books I can temporarily place it aside. And just enjoy my holidays till next year arrives. Gee. What a bummer. Sigh. I just realized I have nothing else to blog about. Sigh. Good day. :) Distraction

I am just so easily distracted. I know that exams start tomorrow, and I'm not even half way done in my revision, yet I'm here. Sitting in my room, with my laptop on my bed and not having any intentions of shutting it down. Today is Brenda's last day of PMR. I am pretty sure she'll burst into the room screaming her head off and beaming like the world's not gonna end any time soon. I bet she's jumping with excitement as today marks her last day with Chinese. I know I was jumping with excitement. I don't know what to do later. She's going to sleep at home and not worry about exams anymore. She's going to watch the television until it burns. She's going to go online and post that status of freedom on Facebook like every other fifteen-year-old. She's going to do whatever she wants - everything but studying. I'm so gonna be distracted later. If I don't update my blog in about a month's time, it's probably because I'm too depressed with my results. And I blame it on distraction. There's A Rainbow Behind Every Rain

You know the feeling of discovering a beautiful rainbow across the sky? And you'll go, "Mommy, mommy! Look! I see a rainbow!" Ah, those were the days when I loved rainbows. Rainbows brought smiles on my face. And I used to think how rainbows were formed. Young and naive I was, little did I notice that rainbows only appear after a rain. And how sad I would be because I never did fancy rain. Rain, rain go away. Come again another day. Little children want to play. Rain, rain go away. That simple tune that urges the rain to go away. I used to sing it whenever I was having fun under the sun. And then all of a sudden, the clouds block the sun and rain would come pouring down. I hated that feeling. Because I didn't want to stop having fun! Obviously singing to the rain won't make it go away. But it was because of singing it, I knew it was time to stop playing. Lo and behold, after the rain stops. A rainbow appears! Similarly, everyone wants happiness. A little joy to a hectic life means a lot to everyone. And nobody wants pain and suffering. We don't need a baby to tell you she likes being happy than sad. But sometimes in life, pain is inevitable. It only takes a strong heart to overcome it. Everything in life depends on how you see it. LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE. I just love the feeling of overcoming something tough, because in the end, I made it through and for that, I'm happy. No point dwelling in those hurtful things that would only make life miserable. Everyone wants a happy life. Honk For Malaysia!

Who would have thought that patriotism could be fun? Walking around Klang town with huge banners and posters and screaming "Malaysia Boleh!" at the top of our lungs - indeed patriotism can be fun. 16th of September, as you all know is Malaysia Day. This year, the Interact Coordinating Council decided to have the Merdeka Walk on Malaysia Day. We gathered in the Royal Klang Club at 9.00 am. And had our roll call after that. It was only at 9.45 am did the Interactors of 9 schools walked around Klang town and started the walk!
Some spotting cars actually honked when they passed by us. And we would be screaming and shouting and showing off our posters. And when the buses honked, that caused a lot of noise pollution but hey, it's Malaysia Day! They're honking for Malaysia! Then, the Interactors of Batu Unjur did a sketch. It was funny, I tell you, funny. 'nuff said. =D Well, all good things must come to an end. When I asked someone wise who lives in my home if he was driving to Klang town and passed by this group of Interactors, will he honk? He said "Why not? I support, man!" Then I asked again, "Why? What about the government?" He said, "Government and country is two different things. I have a country to live in. No war, no famine, good food, sunny. And I'm proud of that." With that, I shall conclude by saying Merdeka! Saya anak Malaysia! And I'm proud of it! Batu people rocks! =)Oh! ps, pictures by Leera! >.< Life Is Fabulous

You know life is good when you have parents who love you unconditionally. A dad who gives you advice on life, boys, education, career, business, fashion -- everything a girl needs to know. A mom who cooks good food, washes your dirty laundry, and still sews your button back on when it comes off your blouse. A sister who's there with you for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do us part -- the person who annoys you and keeps you insane. A grandma who lives just next door to constantly remind you about the do's and don't's in life. Friends who'll smile at you whenever they see you. A roof above your head, to keep you protected from rain, storm and sunshine. A wardrobe filled with pretty dresses, and more to come. A bed with comfy pillows for you to hug at night. Teddy bears on your bed who guard you while you sleep at night. A school you can go to study and learn new things -- although it can get boring at times. Books for you to read and gain new knowledge -- though not many appreciate. And many more things. Most importantly, a God who's there for you. Backing you up every single time; catches your hand when you fall; listens to your complains; answers your prayers; and He never leaves you. So, the next time when you think that your life is bad, pause right there and think again. Because life is fabulous. =) |
